Roll back petrol price hike: BJP

Shimla, May 15
While the state unit of the BJP has condemned the steep hike in petrol price, the Congress termed it as inevitable in view of the soaring international rates of crude oil.

National general secretary of the party Birender Singh said the price of petrol were linked to the price of crude oil which had jumped. There was thus no option but to increase the price.

The BJP maintained that the increase of Rs 5 per litre was uncalled for and it was a gift from the Congress to the people after winning polls in some states.

State party Chief Khimi Ram said the Congress always promised to roll back prices during election campaigns but did the opposite after coming to power. He demanded roll back of the hike.

From a global perspective I rather feel shy due to the policies, corruption, recklessness and the list goes on .... I do not know how to vent out my anger on these corrupt politicians...Everybody together play this game to fill their pockets and let the common man fall. What effect would this have on already inflated goods? Which loyal economist is behind this corrupted idea? Why should we pay 69INR/litre when the road that we travel on isn't that worth? What responsibility did the govt take in the spectrum scandal, its already worth 2500 crores. SO MAY QUESTIONS YET NOBODY TO ANSWER ....INDIANS ARE ONLY FIT TO BE RULED LIKE BRITISHERS SAID
